Thank you so much for your help with the mortgage – very professional, knowledgeable & friendly.

Mr & Mrs Meissel

“Thank you again to CMS for professional advice and guidance. Avron helped and advised us when we wanted to re-write our wills, with great patience and understanding. The whole business of dealing with anyone at CMS is a huge pleasure – they are unique – and we would certainly recommend their services without hesitation.”

Maggie & Mike

“Thank you to everyone at CMS, you have all been very helpful and friendly, Avron especially has gone to great lengths to help us, we will certainly recommend you to anyone needing mortgage services.”

Laura & Stuart

“Julie and her team worked tirelessly to help me through my finances following separating from my husband. Julie found the correct mortgage to enable me to stay in my family home with my children. Without the support and advice from Julie I would have given up and sold my home and I would not be in the situation that I am in now. I cannot thank her enough. The service provided by CMS is outstanding. I highly recommend them for their honest and caring approach.”

Ms Chester, Carterton

“We are VERY happy in our new home and wish to convey our thanks yet again for the advice, expertise and hand-holding given to Mike and I throughout the whole process. I have already recommended yourself and CMS in general to many friends and to our family. Thank you again.”

 Maggie & Mike

“I have life insurance and home insurance in place thank you . I have always had a good service from yourselves, and would recommend Julie as a mortgage adviser to anyone. Thanks again for all your help.”

 Brian Summerfield

“Julie has been my mortgage broker, the past 13 years. She always sources the mortgage with the best possible terms, suited to my needs at that time. Always professional, always caring, and always making the process as seamless as possible. That’s why I go back to her year after year.”

I have worked in a number of opportunities in my working career. I started off in a travel agency which I really enjoyed but with internet bookings becoming easily available I decided to make a change and moved into retail where I stayed for the next 7 years, after which I went on to become an administrator at a PR agency where I found I could put my organisation skills to good use. Having known Julie for over 15 years when I saw the job vacancy at CMS I jumped at the chance to work with her & the team and am looking forward to learning more about the mortgage and protection side of things.

Beyond office life, I have been enduring home & garden renovations and enjoy the occasional Netflix binge.

I believe that my skills and experience in the industry can help clients have a smooth experience, in a process which can become complicated if not navigated properly.

My aim is to bring the personal touch to financial services and ensure that my clients feel that they have an adviser that they can trust who help them through the mortgage process, getting their home and protecting it.

Paul Patel

I’ve worked in Financial Services for over 20 years and been mortgage advising for over 14 of them. Working with numerous UK clients and some overseas. Helping them purchase or remortgage. The majority of my clients are self-employed, which itself brings some complexities. Finding a solution to these problems is something I enjoy and getting a deal agreed gives me a little extra job satisfaction.

Away from work I have a wife (Nik) and three children, so much of my spare time is spent with them. If I manage any other spare time you’ll be likely to find me on the golf course (somewhere) and if I’m lucky/unlucky, watching Charlton. I also very proud to have bullied my children into supporting Charlton also.

What’s your best scar story?

Dislocated my shoulder so many times, I ended up having a “tightening up” op! It got so bad I sometimes woke up with my shoulder dislocated! Big scar on my shoulder to show for it.

You can have an unlimited supply of one thing for the rest of your life, what is it?

Golf balls. Literally water magnets.

Charlotte Osgerby

Starting my career in financial services was somewhat an accident, after leaving school and a short time at college, I started an apprenticeship in Business and Administration with a local broker firm. Following completion of this and working in administration, I took a ‘gap year’ to figure out what it was I wanted to do, I took 6 months off and travelled Bali and Australia. On my return I decided to throw myself into my studies and qualified as a Mortgage Adviser 6 years after falling into my apprenticeship, 4 years on I still love what I do and enjoy every moment of helping people, whether it be buying their first homes or finding what works for them next.

What one piece of music would you keep on repeat and why?
Anything Lewis Capaldi, I think he is an amazing artist and seeing him live in Amsterdam was something I’ll not forget!

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently?
I don’t know, weird things seem to happen to me all the time…

What is your favourite childhood memory?
One of the best must be a family trip to Gibraltar, walking around amongst the monkeys – of course no food signs everywhere. A monkey jumped on my mums back-pack, stole it from her back and proceeded to empty it to find the snacks she thought had gone un-noticed.

Emma Hughes

I have lived in the local area for majority of my life, Chipping Norton now being my home. I have always worked generally in administrative roles starting my working life at age 16 with a Youth Training Scheme at Thames Valley Police! Over the years working in admin roles within various organisations, I have also worked in Catering/Hospitality field but found it too restrictive working evenings and weekends so decided an office role was preferable.
I am delighted to have found a role within a local company here in Chipping Norton and it’s great to be able to walk to work. I am new to working within the Mortgage / Financial sector but am enjoying the challenge of my administrative role here at CMS. I have many interests and hobbies and a love of crafts and quilting is a great past time I enjoy when I have the time.

What animal would you compare yourself to and why?
I would be a bird – as I like to fly, as this would give me a feeling of freedom and being able to travel to many different areas or even countries and I love to travel and explore.

What one piece of music would you keep on repeat?
Bruce Springsteen – so any of his songs on repeat would be good, I’ve seen him live 3 times and he is brilliant.
I also love the songs of Elvis Presley and have been lucky enough to go to visit Graceland.

If you ran away and joined the circus, what type of performer would you be?
I would love to be trained on the high rope swing, again a sense of flight, I love the feeling of flying through the air, but would want a nice big safety net underneath of course!
